The Black Winter Truffle, often called the Perigord Truffle, is renowned for its intense flavor and fragrance, setting it apart from other black truffles. With a rich black exterior and intricately veined dark interior, these truffles offer a subtle, earthy aroma reminiscent of chocolate, a scent that has enchanted chefs and food enthusiasts for ages.

They are typically sold as whole truffles, weighing between 1 to 1.5 ounces. To preserve their exceptional taste, keep them in a cool, dry spot—like a refrigerator. Since truffles are sensitive to moisture, it’s best to wrap them in unbleached paper towels, changing the towels daily to keep them dry.

Since truffles are naturally foraged, their flavors and aromas vary. We select each truffle meticulously, evaluating them by sight and smell, though we can't sample each one. Enjoy!
