Thank you for choosing Bemka, a house of caviar and fine foods since 1984. For more than four decades we have supplied five star hotels, fine restaurants, country clubs, and gourmet shops across the United States and Europe.

We are an official importer of international farmed caviar and a distributor of domestic wild caviar, and we go to the source to choose it ourselves. The sturgeon ponds in these photos are where much of our Kaluga begins, and we walk them in person before a single tin carries our name.

Great caviar is decided long before it reaches a tin. It starts with healthy sturgeon, clean cold water, and farmers willing to wait the many years these fish need to mature.

We build direct relationships with the farms we buy from and visit them ourselves, so we know exactly where every lot comes from and how it was raised and harvested. That traceability protects quality, and it protects the sturgeon too. Responsibly farmed caviar is how this delicacy survives for the next generation, and every shipment we import moves under CITES controls.

When a harvest arrives, our specialists grade it the slow way: by sight, by scent, and by taste. Pearl size, color, firmness, and flavor all have to pass before a lot earns the Bemka name.

Our team then prepares and packs every order under FDA and HACCP controls. It is detailed, unglamorous work, and it is the reason chefs who cannot afford surprises have trusted the same tins since 1984.

Caviar may be our first love, but it is not all we carry. You will also find foie gras, truffles and truffle products, smoked fish, sushi caviar, pure saffron, sea salts, chocolates, dried and frozen wild mushrooms, pâtés, gastronomic preserves, exotic bourbon vanilla beans, and more, each one selected the same way as our caviar.
