The Classic Bite: Simple Caviar & Blini

This is the most traditional way to serve caviar. You can use store-bought blinis or simple toast points for an even easier preparation. It’s all about letting the flavor of the caviar shine.

You'll Need:

  • 1 package of mini blinis or a baguette, thinly sliced and lightly toasted

  • 1 oz (30g) caviar

  • Crème fraîche

  • Optional accompaniments: finely minced red onion, chopped hard-boiled egg whites and yolks (separated)

Simple Steps:

  1. Warm the blinis or prepare your toast points and arrange them on a serving platter.

  2. Set out small bowls with the crème fraîche and any other accompaniments you are using.

  3. Allow guests to build their own perfect bite: a blini or toast point, a smear of crème fraîche, and a crowning jewel of caviar.
